In Perlstein's article on people who love Bush, I wondered why he painted conservatives/Republicans as people who change the subject if they don't have a good answer, when that's exactly what liberals/Democrats do.
---
firebrand, I'm afraid you're going to have to argue with THIS liberal/Democrat, not "liberals/Democrats" in the abstract. I'm not going to skip a single question today. The fact is, all humans have a fight or flight reflex. My problem with the conservatives I wrote about is that I found their changing the subject especially egregious, especially since they invited me into their homes, knowing I was a liberal, to discuss Bush.

I honestly believed you were going to answer questions we have...you are not doing so....can't you answer some of our simple questions without reverting to your articles which you probably took hours upon hours to compose....

"problem with the conservatives I wrote about is that I found their changing the subject"

If you want to see someone change the subject, just bring up partial birth abortion. I watched a episode of CNN's Talk Back Live (I think that was the name) the discussion was PBA, when a woman stepped up to the mic and started to describe PBA. She was cut off by the host saying they weren't going to allow that. How do you have a discussion on PBA without saying what it really is? Libs always hide behind euphemisms, Pro Choice=killing babies, Planned Parenthood=abortion clinic, Tissue =fetus, Freedom of religion=Freedom from religion.
How can Kerry say life begins at conception and still support abortion? If life begins at conception, abortion is murder.

The fact that you found it especially egregious because they had invited you into their homes is . . . CHANGING THE SUBJECT! You have switched the subject to their lack of graciousness as hosts. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt.

Just had an encounter with a liberal after I replied to dead's post.

Me: Too bad those ads for volunteers for the convention gave information about where all the Internet computers are. That's why we now have to wait three and a half hours to get on.

Liberal: As if I want to volunteer for their convention!

Cuckoo clock in hell doesn't begin to describe their debating techniques.

Why did dead even bother with this thread? Your non answers are so typical of liberals. Many here have poised good honest questions, and wanted a sincere honest reply, and you've failed to answer the majority of them. Only those questions you can link an article to, or cut and paste a reply do you respond to. What a waste of a carbon unit.
