Alan Keyes is an amazing speaker. I've had the honor of hearing him speak numerous times & just marvel at the information & arguments he is able to pull up on the spur of the moment.

I'll be surprised if history doesn't repeat itself one more time. The "G"OP "establishment" has a long track record of throwing Alan to the wolves and leaving him hanging out twisting gently in the breeze on his own.

I think they're throwing him at Barack Osama because of the color of his skin, and I also think the RATS have annointed Obama their "Great Black Hope" (although he seems to me to be more of a "high yaller" extraction) -- and therefore, I expect them to throw everything they can into the race (what a charming word, how appropos).

I also expect the "knows how to be a good loser" countryclub "G"OP goodolboys to do essentially nothing to support Keyes.

Yes, I'd like Keyes to win. I wanted him to be President, after all. But FWIW I just can't see this race turning out as anything but a "nice, solid kill" for Osabama on his way to the white house.

It's sad when the "better" alternative would have been for the "G"OP to let the bastard run unopposed, or else throw up a total nobody to run against him. They way they're doing it now, though, they're giving the guy his first "championship bout" on his way to "undisputed heavyweight champion of the free world (AKA "POTUS" in a few years) with a perfect knockout track record."

I joked earlier that "Q: How does the DNC say F/U to Harold Ford? A: Barak Obama." Now I'm thinking that the "G"OP is saying it to all of us, and doing so on the back of Alan Keyes.

Groan...

Me too! He was the only candidate at the debates who had a grip on the Constitutional requirements of the job!
