Our chimney sweep was telling me today about some sort of flu hitting the Lancaster PA area. This is the first I've heard of it but I work this weekend and will query folks.
I suppose I've read "The Stand" too many times. :)
Interesting reading about the flu virus hitting around the US.
My sister in law and I both came down with upper respiratory infections last Wednesday afternoon. We were both up in LA the previous weekend for my son's wedding. She went home to Illinois, I came back to San Diego. Upper respiratory infection turned into, what I refer to as the old fashioned flu, by Saturday morning.
The digestive track problems left us both on Monday but both of us still have swollen glands and deep coughs. My husband started coming down with it on Tuesday and feels horrible today.
We get summer colds occasionally but nothing like this. This is more like the flu virus that was hitting back in the spring.
