The recently-posted sketch of an airplane flying into some kind of structure, and the target(s) being called "two bows" is something we could spend a bit more time brainstorming on.
The targets for Sept. 11 were called "the birthday cake" (Pentagon) and "two candles" or "two sticks" (WTC towers).
What could the "two bows" be? Oddly, the thought of Mickey and Minnie Mouse's ears came to my head... i.e., Disneyland and Disneyworld.

Reminds me of friends I know who fly. Sometimes landmarks from the air resemble something different than they would from the ground. Some pilots have a lingo for such landmarks.
This also makes me think about the flight similation programs that some of the 9/11 terrorists used to become familiar with the topography of the cities they were going to hit.
Thanks for the reminder about the names they used for the targets, I recall those names now that you mentioned it. Just makes my blood boil.....which in turn makes me want to brainstorm!!!
One thing that does come to mind are areas of land that when looking at a map might resemble the "loop" of a bow...maybe areas of water (e.g. the great lakes area) that could also resemble the loops of a bow....I will continue to ponder.

Google Diablo Canyon or Indian Point under images - twin domes of a nuke power plant, perhaps?

Two bows...LAX? (I didn't see the sketch you mentioned, but this comes to mind.)
