Msnbc: new info about another stream of intelligence, separate from the guy arrested in Pak.
This new stream of intel shows active AQ plan to attack.
Fairly current evidence, from several sources, including some guy in London.
Saying end of Aug/early Sept. on msnbc for attack.
The anchor on this channel is implying there is some wag the dog here...
Gen. Odom, former NSA director, in a film clip saying we could spend ourselves into penury by building all these fences, etc. This is what ObL wants. Instead, he says, we should tear some of the defenses down, in defiance.
thank goodness he is the FORMER nsa director, with logic like that.

Unbelievable!!!
Wag the dog???
Un-f'ing-believable... The ability of the average American to draw a conclusion based on mountains of evidence has been effectively neutered by the media and Washington.
What is so disturbing about American society's attitude toward the War on Terror can be boiled down to two things:
1) Proof of terror exists only in its fruition.
2) Even then, it may not be enough
There will always be an indisidious assertion that politics is to blame. We could have time-stamped, live video of OBL lighting up a suitcase nuke in Times Square over the Internet and every major news network throughout the world, and some group, somewhere will say it's in the name of Bush trying to steal an election.
How depressing that the only way to survive as a nation is, quite frankly, to survive (how profound, right?)
In essence, we, as a people, need to completely write off the fork-tongued elements of the Democratic party (Dean, Kennedy, McDermott, Pelosi et al.) as fifth-columnists. They are truly a danger to the Union in that we allow them so much of our time to be aghast, bitter, and stupefied by their breathtakingly treasonous behavior. By assigning them power, we give them power. The judiciary will never try a Jim McDermott for treason. The judiciary will never go after celebrities like Danny Glover, who give comfort and aid to the enemy. Popular sentiment will never convict Michael Moore for being the lying Uriah Heep that he is. Congress will never have the backbone to kick the U.N. off our shore.
We need to forget about the ones who've politicized 9/11 and the War on Terror. They're lost. So are their followers. They've made their deals with the devil and those who are unsavvy enough to see their duplicity are no longer worth our time. We'll never enlighten the people at DU, the people at Slate, at Planned Parenthood, at NEA, at NOW...
