Grand Rapids has, historically, been a GOP area. Who had the largest crowd? The Prez or JFK?

The john had the larger crowd. President Bush spoke at the fieldhouse which was filled at 4000. Today, there were twice that many at the outdoor downtown event. The GOP might consider more outdoor events but security might be an issue.

The area surrounding Grand Rapids is still among the most Republican in the nation, but the city of Grand Rapids itself now leans a bit to the Democrats.
