Then why hasn't Catholicism saved Catholic countries like France, Spain, Italy? Hasn't saved any of Latin America? I am a Catholic --- but separation of Church and State seem like a pretty good idea --- maybe Catholics should worry about saving souls and forget about saving countries because they just don't seem able to do that. There isn't one Catholic country that has reached the level of the USA --- which like it or not was founded on more Protestant virtues such as the work ethic --- Calvinist ideas.

These are all Democrat bastions. In CA after such a huge invasion of Mexican "saviors" into Bob Dornan's district he was quickly replaced by an ultra liberal latina Democrat. Hispanics and Catholics in general vote Dem, always have. I don't know why, I think they are all complete morons for doing so, but that is reality, and unless you believe voting Dem is going to "save America" more Catholics in America is going to merely get us more Democrats and hurt the United States.
