This would be great, but I don't think it will happen. The accountants and attorneys make too much money as a result of a complex tax system.

Accountants et al will find work. I would hire one today if I didn't have a friggin' IRS tax bill holding me back.
They're not exempt from the horse>car scenario. Go for it.

Accountants will still be around since accounting requirements will always be there for corporations, LLC's and limited partnerships.....
The end of the year tax burden would be greatly reduced...
The only one's with a downside would straight out tax attorneys.....

If this wonderful idea gets legs, the press will go absolutely ape trying to stop it. Can you imagine the NYT headlines, day after day, week after week, denouncing it?
