A new film set for release from PARAMOUNT has raised the pop culture threat levels at the White House -- a film which mocks the war on terror and media urgency using puppets, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"I really do not think terrorism is funny, and I would suggest PARAMOUNT give respect to those fighting and sacrificing to keep America safe," a senior Bush adviser told the DRUDGE REPORT this weekend.
The new fuss film TEAM AMERICA, set for release two weeks before the November presidential election, is entering post-production from with SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone
A deep voice using serious tones opens the film's teaser: "We live in a time of unparalleled danger. Weapons of Mass Destruction are being offered to terrorists all over the world. Global chaos is about to consume every country on Earth. And there is only one hope for humanity."
The senior Bush adviser, who asked not to be named, fumed after seeing the movie's official website and trailer.
"This is just unconscionable. Not funny. And I believe it makes fun of everyone in law enforcement... and in the armed services who work tirelessly to keep us safe from harm."
Marionette puppets are used throughout the film to mock terror threats, and media figures who dominate the nation's airwaves.
I didn't start anything. Just made sure you knew the two guys were being interviewed. We don't agree. I think you're being hard headed. Please stop pinging me over here, it's pointless when you say stupid stuff like better get that checked. Bye!
"How to eat with your butt"...
I agree! :)
---------------Ya think!?
Well, I guess I don't know about real numbers, but the film absolutely skewers the liberal approach to terrorism and the world's bad guys in a way that appeals to the kids - I can testify that the crowd in Hall H at the SD Convention Center was teary-eyed with laughter at Hans Blix demanding that Kim Jong Il let him look for WMD in NK or else the UN would send him a letter of reprimand ("Hans, you're busting my balls here"), and what happens immediately thereafter - Ahh, I'm laughing again at the memory..!!.. :) - Sorry - we'll see - (he he he ...)
It's brilliant satire to people with working minds.
It's trash to irrelevant old bed wetters eating apple sauce and wearing sweaters in August.
"Kill me Billy!"
I have heard the same. We won't know until it's out tho'. I would bet that there is a Babra Streisand character in it.
Congratulations! You have won the title of 'young south park punk'.
Please see old cracker to get your reward.
Hey, Mr. Natural - what did ya think of Sky Captain? I'm a huge fan of that style of pulp action movie. Would like a FReeper's view, can't stand reading the lefties at Aintitcoolnews.com (although I still do as they tend to have the real scoops on upcoming movies).
You may have just peaked with that one.
Marionette puppets are used throughout the film to mock terror threats, and media figures who dominate the nation's airwaves. But Parker and Stone save most of the mocking for left-wing pundits and Michael Moore.
PS: I love that he used the work spelunking...it's one of my favorite words!
The more I hear about this movie, the better it sounds. After all the Anti-Bush stuff, this will do really, really well.

Without your firsthand exposure to "Team America" I must admit though that my blinders would have been on and I would'nt have given it a second look.
Now I will. Thank you.
The most remarkable head sculpts belong to the other bad guys in the film. Actually, said Trey, theyre not bad. Theyre just really really stupid and misguided. Theyre an organization of Hollywood liberals who are determined to stop Team America from interfering in the affairs of international politics. Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, and a permanently mustard-stained Michael Moore are just a few of the celebrities who are going to feel well and truly roasted when they see this film. Even seeing the heads without the films puppeteers bringing them to life, they are frighteningly accurate and bitingly funny.
it helps to learn what is actually going on before going stridently and obdurately public with one's uninformed opinions. the White House fellow should have known that, being a political creature. I would have expected you to know it as well.
This gen-Xer will be in Iraq when the movie comes out, and I'll be first in line if it gets to a base theatre.
This kind of humor and mockery is the one thing that can really skewer people like Moore in the eyes of those who dont read up on the issues. Stone and Parker are watching our 6 on the homefront as sure as Free Republic is.
