I think fusion energy is a joke.
It terrifies me that you may be right. There's no way the sun has enough wood to keep from going out before my tan is just right.

It terrifies me that you may be right. There's no way the sun has enough wood to keep from going out before my tan is just right. It's also a good thing we use coal in our thermonuclear warheads. This way we're not dependent on foreign oil to power our joke fusion warheads.

The sun is about 1 million times the volume of earth. You would need to scale the sun's reaction down 1 million times just to get to a plantary size reactor, let alone scaling it down to the size of normal power plant.
