You gotta wonder why there are not other Brinkley/types around today.
Krystal remiinds me of girls at age 13. There was always one who pretended to be your friend, who got your secrets and then made snide comments about you to others. You never could catch her but at some point you came to know she was not your friend and was driven by envy. Krystal is just like that,,I think he is pea green with envy of GWB. Something about him is just bitchy.
So you can actually watch Kerry w/o a Bloody Mary, or some form of pain killer?
You're a better man that I am - I think I pickled my liver watching the convention last week.
Call me crazy but I think that the Kerry interview on FNC will convert a lot of people who don't follow facts or do any research, which unfortunately is most of the electorate
Your memory is faulty.
Brinkley on Clinton:
"He's a bore, and we will always be a bore."
bump
Because Russert gives Rush an hour of face time on his MSNBC show every year - around Thanksgiving, I believe.
I find I need two bloody mary's to watch any dem. I haven't even tried with Hillary. I might need a "valley of the dolls" concoction to watch her,,two bloody marys chased by a xanax.
Wow, Bill kristol=A girl of age 13--don't hold back!
I like your description of him. It's hilarious, and not far off the mark.
When I see the guy, either on TV or in person, I see arrogance personified.
Really? I heard he was criticing Tim about his Today show comment about Cheney once.
Is Joe Biden dead?
well, doncha think he comes across and girlishly envious always making nasty comments about the pubs whilst pretending to be a conservative. He is just bitchy in an early adolescent sort of way. Now bitchiness in full grown women can be a beautiful thing to see as it is more polished and sophisticated, dare I say nuanced?
He is only brain dead.
Zell Miller just kicked Russert's ass.--He called the rat convetion "the botox convention"--Russert just emitted the ultimate rat talking point: "Kerry talked about doing this or that" once they talk about it nothing else matters. Miller pointed that out--he's the last good dem.
Conservative politics was a sort of rebellion angaist his social circumstances. As it becomes more of a populist movement he moves away from it. He cannot find himself agree with a hardware store owner in Memphis, heaven forbid.
As Kerry apes J. F. Kennedy so Kristol apes Buckly but with out his patriotism, scruples, intelligence, erudition and concern for the Nation.
He is a narcissitic as Kerry. This appears to be a real Bommer problem in our elites.
Years ago he would have been another democrat intellectual, probably on a campus somewhere. The only reason he is not is that the Democrat party's leadership and cadres have moved so very far to the Left.
Russert almost annually gives Rush an hour on MSNBC profiles, which likely mutes Rush's criticisms of Russert. Also Russert is the best of a bad lot.
Zell is wonderful.
That's a weak sellout for someone with limbaugh's numbers.
