Good article. Thanks.
LOL. I'm almost inclined to agree. :-)
Oh, great: a secular humanist Catholic deacon -- that'll bring souls to Christ. Why let a life illuminated by Christ's love shine before the world when you can hide behind the declaration of human rights?
Tell me, when you do all your non-partisan soul-searching, does it ever occur to you that a pro-life member of a party that supports abortion-on-demand is, by association, guilty of supporting abortion-on-demand? How many pro-life Democrats publicly repudiate the party's platform, or refuse to engage in activities supporting the DNC?
From the 2004 Democratic Party Platform:
Because we believe in the privacy and equality of women, we stand proudly for a woman's right to choose, consistent with Roe v. Wade, and regardless of her ability to pay. We stand firmly against Republican efforts to undermine that right. At the same time, we strongly support family planning and adoption incentives. Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.
And this is the cleaned-up version for public consumption -- in practice, Democrats support crushing the skulls of viable babies in as part of that "woman's right to choose," and oppose judicial candidates whose personal religious beliefs forbid abortion, regardless of their judicial integrity.
I don't believe God has any political affiliation, but neither do I believe he is neutral.
Uh, huh. Sure.
Ah, almost forgot, the Judeo Christian God does favor capital punishment.
Whoever wrote this certainly doesn't know the Judeo Christian God. Maybe he should take some time to get to know His views before he writes something so ridiculous.
God is Not a Republican

Oh, that explains the aversion to the Bible and what God desires ... . I didn't notice who wrote it or for what rag mag. It's no wonder they still vote for Demoncrats. It's part of their indoctrination and in opposition to the Bible.
He is not democrat or republican, or Baptist, or Methodist, or Islamic, or anything we label today. He is GOD! He is LORD!, He is KING!
We on the other hand, can't comprehend His office because He is Sovereign. We don't understand obedience without question or hesitation. We have never lived under a Lord that could rape our wives on our wedding night and if he liked her, put us to death and marry our wife. With just a wave of his hand kill our whole village. We arrogantly believe we can challenge His wisdom and authority and maybe get away with an argument with Him. Our job is to discern what God would have us believe and do. That is why I vote conservative. Notice I didn't say Republican. The Republican party is a constuct of man and therefore subject to the weakness of man. If the Republican party decides expediency is better than principle, I may have to change my vote.
I believe we have abortion and sodomy in he headlines today to make a bright line( so bright a moron could see it), between good and evil. Some people will quote certain verses to "prove" Jesus was a Communist, but they misinterpret the meaning of the verse. There can be no mistake on sodomy or murder.
When Jesus returns, there will be no vote, nor argument, nor excuses. Democrats know they are evil and they choose it openly. I feel so strongly about it, I would recomend that anyone in my church be shunned if I knew they supported sin openly. Just as Kerry shouldn't recieve the sacrements of his church if he openly defies it's teaching. Why be a Catholic if you don't believe it's teaching? Only to fool others! I am a Baptist because I believe they are the closest to the teaching of God in the Bible. If the Baptists leave the teaching, I leave the Baptists. I am a Christian who attends a Baptist church. Sometimes I get the feeling Catholics won't leave the church because someone told them they were the ones going to heaven. You have the mobsters murdering on Monday and recieving mass on Tuesday, mumbling a couple "Our Fathers and Hail Mary's", so it's OK. If I say I'm against abortion personally, but vote for it, then I'm a liar, not an open minded public servant. What good is your belief system if it doesn't rule your life? God must be first in my life in all things or I dare not call Him Lord!
You're a contemptible jackass.
You kiss your mother with that mouth?
