Thank you Alamo girl. Good to see you again.

A little more from the Spokanes Review (Spokane Newspaper)

Thompson has an extensive criminal history and is wanted in five states. Coeur d'Alene police are still trying to determine the nature of his previous crimes.

"We don't know specifics," Wood said. "We've had the 911 dispatch center calling those jurisdictions and trying to get mug shots."

The families of the children listed their address as the North Fork River, Wood said. "They were just traveling through."

Police have lost contact with one of the families. Detectives spoke with the other mother Friday, Wood said.

The multi-state Amber Alert was issued to law officers and media outlets across the Northwest. The system is now nationwide and meant to offer swift response to kidnappings. According to information from the U.S. Department of Justice, 74 percent of children who are kidnapped and later found murdered were killed within the first three hours after being taken.

Shoshone County Sheriff Chuck Reynalds said homeless families often camp during the summer on national forest land. The U.S. Forest Service sets a two-week limit to stay on an individual site.

"We have a number of people camping out homeless and between jobs up on the river during summer," Reynalds said. "It's an ongoing problem. It's very hard to track."

Anyone with information on the children should call 911.

We should not have any homeless families in this country..

We should be able to help any family with housing, childcare and a job, it is our duty as People of Holy GOD and Americans IMO..
