This election has to be not only to beat kerry, it has to be to neuter the democrat party down to the point where they are comprable to the green party in strenght.

Hubby points out that this can be compared to 1992: An incumbent Republican Bush challenged by a Democrat. Except that W is a better campaigner than his father, and Kerry is no Clinton, and the economy is doing better than in 1992, and Kerry's lies won't have nearly the traction that Clinton's did in this Internet age, and instead of a Ross Perot to suck votes away from Bush, there's Nader ready to suck a few votes away from the Super-warriors (snicker) Kerry & Edwards.

In 1992, Clinton couldn't even manage to get 50% of the vote. This year... victory is on the way!
