You mean like the guys that were earning 50-100k a year with a string of certs and degrees behind their names doing network security administration for 100k users.. The first ones that lost their jobs to Mexico here.. More training like that..

I was a valuable employee who got raises he didn't have to ask for and bonuses for his work right up to the time our client forced my company to outsource or lose the contract because Nafta and free trade opened the door to paying sub walmart pay for skilled work. I have to train daily to keep up with the changes in the environment. You aren't appealing to the average joe American. You're trying to defend by sniping at them and blaming them for what you're doing. It ain't gonna get you votes and it's precisely why Kerry's position stands a good chance of selling. Get a life.

He was comfortable with that life, but I wanted more, so I got off my a$$ to make it happen. I have lost a job after 9-11, but it wasn't because of Bush. I took care of my mother on her death bed. Clinton's GREAT FMLA program got me fired. I was unemployed for 8 months after that, but still found work to feed my family in the meantime. Sometimes I lived paycheck to paycheck, but I have always done alright with ONLY an associates degree. All I hear from you are EXCUSES for FAILURE.

Problem is, you seem to be the one blaming everyone else for your troubles. If you were THAT VALUABLE, then you would be finding something substantial, but you may have to pick up and move to where the job is. YOU SAID you were making 30K and wanted a 30K job. I say, that is setting your goals a bit low, isn't it? Keep trying...bang on doors, you will find something besides Wal-Mart that pays that much. Crying in your beer won't do much but prolong your situation.
