Okay, I think it may have been 20 cents a gallon. In 1958, it ran about 25 per gallon.

In 1966 my Sweet Baby and I moved to Winter Haven Fl.
On highway 19 running down the Gulf Coast side, of Fl. gas was 19 cents a gallon. There was a gas war and it stayed that way for a year or more.
We used to travel back and forth from Fl to AL, going from 19 to 21 cents.
Those were the days............. hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm &;-)
