We have had variously irreverent and weird versions of the Star Bangled Banner, a VP speech followed by frightening-looking rap artists, and more Mellendamp vomit than I can stomach. Jimmy Kimmel played a clip from a song played at the convention tonight. Part of the lyrics were "a midget standing tall". Kimmel played it again and suggested the DNC screen their lyrics.
