When Mara what's her name on Fox says that Kerry's salute will be the most memorable part of tonight, I think that's good for Nader. The hard core Dems don't like the military, don't like war and especially don't like what's going on now. It seems Kerry is trying to out-Bush Bush in terms of patriotism and the military, two things the Dem base hates.
True. I think he's going to pick up some independents with the salute and pro-military tone, but lose some lefties, resulting in no net gain.
