"He chose to go to Vietnam....packed his camera, film and bandaid."
No freaking kidding.
What an A$$hole. He is now talking about how the war wasn't what he thought it would be.
A friend of our family was in Vietnam and basically had his knee blown to $hit. But when he came home, to Chicago, to O'Hare, he got spit on all through out O'Hare airport.
That's directly thanks to people like John F'n Kerry.
I have stories of REAL vietnam heroes....not opportunists.
Same thing happened to my dad at O'Hare when he came back from the Marines. He got called a baby-killer, too. He didn't even go to Viet Nam. He was in Hawaii almost the entire time he served.
Those are the kind of people who should tell this side of the story in the RNC and in commercials.
"basically had his knee blown to $hit."
When I say that -- let me explain, some bomb was thrown into their airplane and he couldn't do anything about it.
We should never, ever send Americans to war unless we are 100% behind them. It is NOT RIGHT.
We cannot ask them to shed blood or even die unless we will not show them, with word and deed, that we believe in what they are doing.
But way before we ever went to war, I believed GW.
More importantly, I believed in him after 9/11. He didn't send a million dollar missile into a camel's butt (love that line!). No, he has targeted & focused our resources and....
Max Cleland is on. He wants to tell us how he came to love John Kerry.
*sigh* I think the coffee is wearing off and the wine is beginning to win the game.
