Yep...Jake's a first-grader this year and he seems pretty excited about school. JessieLee's a 4th-grader and by the look of the textbooks she brought home yesterday fer Social Studies and Math, it looks like the homework load's gonna be much greater than what she had last year.

I was totally amazed that Jax had no homework folder in her backpack when she got home yesterday. OTOH, the 2nd grade hasn't finished arranging their reading groups, so she has to wait before they determine which level she will be placed in.
That's where the most homework is going to come from.
