SAVE THE DATE
Michael Reagan
will co-host FOXNews Channel's Hannity & Colmes live from the Reagan Ranch on August 13. The show airs at 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. PST/9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. EST.

Mike will also broadcast "The Michael Reagan Show" from the Reagan Ranch earlier in the day. Save this link and bookmark to listen to Radio America's live audio feed of "The Michael Reagan Show."

WHILE THERE was a Reagan at the Demo convention -- Ron Reagan in a pitch for stem-cell research legislation -- there will be another Reagan at the GOP Convention. He is Michael R., the 59-year-old son of Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman. He tells me he will do an introduction to the tribute film on his father, Aug. 30. "I will not be there to politicize my father but to honor him," he said. Michael, a successful commentator on 200-plus radio stations, is also a "contributor" to the Fox News network. He will be broadcasting from the GOP convention. I asked if he'd watched Ron on the Demo show? "I don't think he was honoring my father at all," said Michael. "If he wanted to give a speech about Alzheimer's, he should get involved and raise money" for research. (Michael is on the board of the John Taylor French Alzheimer Assn. chaired by Art Linkletter.) Michael is also angered by the fact Ron did not join his mother Nancy (and him) at the arrival festivities of the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Ronald Reagan in its home port of San Diego. "He thinks it (the ship) is a messenger of mass destruction." More from Michael Oct. 1 with publication of his book, "Twice Adopted" -- once by Ronnie and Jane Wyman, the second --by God. ... Michael is scheduled to appear Aug. 13 on the Hannity and Colmes show on Fox News from the Reagan Rancho del Cielo, on the 23rd anni of R.R.'s signing of the tax bill -- at that site.

Rolling Stones' "BEAST OF BURDEN"

I'll never be your beast of burden
My back is broad but it's a hurting
All I want is for you to make love to me
I'll never be your beast of burden
I've walked for miles my feet are hurting
All I want is for you to make love to me

Am I hard enough
Am I rough enough
Am I rich enough
I'm not too blind to see

I'll never be your beast of burden
So let's go home and draw the curtains
Music on the radio
Come on baby make sweet love to me

Am I hard enough
Am I rough enough
Am I rich enough
I'm not too blind to see

Oh little sister
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, girl
You're a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girl
Pretty, pretty
Such a pretty, pretty, pretty girl
Come on baby please, please, please

I'll tell ya
You can put me out
On the street
Put me out
With no shoes on my feet
But, put me out, put me out
Put me out of misery

Yeah, all your sickness
I can suck it up
Throw it all at me
I can shrug it off
There's one thing baby
That I don't understand
You keep on telling me
I ain't your kind of man

Ain't I rough enough, ooh baby
Ain't I tough enough
Ain't I rich enough, in love enough
Ooh! Ooh! Please

I'll never be your beast of burden
I'll never be your beast of burden
Never, never, never, never, never, never, never be

I don't need no beast of burden
I need no fussing
I need no nursing
Never, never, never, never, never, never, never be

Pre...MUD
