Any man who is willing to sacrifice his grandchild to an abortionist is also willing to sacrifice my son to save his own skin. That Sir, is the true crux of the matter. This is the mind set that we all are facing now whether in the military or in civilian life.
Mariner, take your ball and go home. I for one will not miss you nor care.
Now, about the cup incident....get even. Toss one of their prized possesions overboard.
I feel that he could use more than a few nice lines from FReepers. How about a care package? What can he use and what's the address? I'm sure that we can all mail him a little something he can use to pick up his morale. A book, a video, a personal letter, some packaged junk food like cookies or cakes. Whats he allowed to receive and not receive?
PS: What type of things does he like? What kind of books, movies, junk food, etc.
Retired USAF here, and I can say most liberals in the AF get out before their first term is up.Know what I mean, most cant put up with the disipline, and put down the peace pipe.
He should report this behavior to the proper authorities.
Didn't sound like he was getting bullied. Sounded like he had a political discussion with a couple idiots who when they ran out of retorts resorted to telling him to F#$k Off. No big deal hear. I think the kids confusion, and rightly so, is why somebody would volunteer for the Navy when they believe in the Democrats....Why join a fight force when you believe in surrender. If these liberals are afloat they are probably the same kind of sailors that don't even know what sea they are in or why they are there.
Those types are huge minority in the Navy as they are in any service. It is no different than a peer officer my brother had in the Army that thought snipers were murderers. That guy was a West Pointer. I had a liberal for a skipper. He wanted to blow up the bad guys just like the rest of us, but he also believed in cradle to grave handouts for the poor. He was trying to round up guys for VIP escorts once when Clinton decided to visit and got pretty upset when we all said no.
Thank your son from myself, my wife, and my 3 kids for his service to our country. And thank you for a job well done in raising your son.
Well if they are junking his property and cursing at him in the face they can be put up on charges, particularly if they were on ship and on a float. If I were were their CO and I heard about it I would chew them both out. That sort of thing has no business in a combat unit. Year ago there were ways to deal with this sort of thing on a peer level. Now we are so PC that the only way to deal with it is at a formal level. No CO wants to go into combat with those sort of hostilities brewing in the ranks. The kid could be exagerating but if my reading is correct the kid should talk to his immeadiate NCO about it (assuming he is enlisted.) I never met one liberal in the USMC - not one. Even the Blacks and the American Indians were die hard conservatives - in fact the Blacks were more often more to the right and more informed policially as a group than most, at least in the Officer's Corp. Some were Democrats but that was when the Democrats had conservatives in their ranks.
Freepmail me an Email-address(to which I'll respond) and any picture or Artwork you'd like on a coffee mug and I'll get it off to you today. I'll include some other cool stuff too. You can then send it to him.

What first post to FR and tomorrow to boot!
I am sure your mom is proud of your service to our country.
Perhaps besides kicking gays out of the military we should also kick out the liberals.
Great Idea! He should go to his CO first thing in the AM and complain about those liberals on his ship.
Just wait for shore leave, in a dark alley that is.
Navy ping...
The destruction of personal property by the other sailors is a violation of military conduct.
The other sailor lost their military bearing, lost their professional conduct, and in my eyes are not fit to serve.
Your son did admirably well.
Yes, that is how liberals operate, yu are more than correct in stating that.
It's almost an understatement actually.
Prayers up that something good comes out of the hardship and frustration.
2B:
This isn't something you just experience in his situation; the only difference is he spends much more time with these jpeople than one would in a normal work environment, especially if they are away at sea. I come across people like this too; they really don't have anything to back up what they say and so that's why they resort to name-calling, getting in your face and other shenanigans. If that guy had said something to me about the abortion, I would've asked him if he would've preferred that she not get pregnant to the abortion and work back on it that way. These people always assume worst case scenario. When will they learn an oz. of prevention is worth a lb. of cure.
If these people are 6s or greater then he needs to pull his head out of his hind quarters. While I doubt this is the case, In the Nav I knew, if your 1-PO and especially your CPO had an axe to grind to the point of being "in your face" - you were in a world o' hurt. They have the power to dispense scads of crap, in most cases with the full sanction of the command, and the know-how to make one's lfe miserable. As a PO2 he likely isn't to that level of authority or experience yet. When will he make 1st?
Lastly, he needs to relax, and so do you. There is no shortage of people like them, and he will be working around them for the rest of his life no matter where he goes.
