Geez! Now isn't that convenient??? Probably has affected his speech, won't be able to testify at his own trial.
God help me for saying so, I have no sympathy for this beast!

Good. I hope the only side effect is total loss of bowel control. I'd hate to see him leave the mortal coil without receiving his comeuppance first.

No, it will be worse than that.....if we had just waited instead of the war, he would have died anyways!

His lawyers say that the former Iraqi President might die before his full trial. That's good news. Even better news would be that his trial is next month.

This is not good news(if true) at all because he needs to stand trial. On another note, is Michael Moore en route to be by his side?

I am curious though, since you are a newbie (member since 7/28) do you have a source other than hearing it on al Jazeera??

Of course the left is going to claim the CIA slipped him a dose of a stroke inducing drug.

Most are still PO'd that he was passed over by Kerry in favor of Edwards.

His lawyers say that the former Iraqi President might die before his full trial. Other than cheating the hangman I don't have a problem with that.

Saddam Hussein is known to idolize Stalin, to have read every book the guy ever wrote and to have even have visited all his dachas in the Caucuses. Perhaps this stroke came about because he poisoned himself, because he wanted to die just like Stalin had. From a warfarin induced stroke.
