Your Dukakis analogy doesn't work for this reason: One doesn't have to wear a helmet to take a tour of a tank. Dukakis only wore it to "look tough" for the cameras. IOW, he tried to portray himself as something he wasn't - a military man.

If Kerry had donned an astronaut suit for this photo op, then you and the others here would be making some sense. He would have been trying to portray himself as something he wasn't - an astronaut.

But he didn't - he only wore what all the other tourists have to wear to enter the crew module. In no way was he trying to look like something he wasn't (in this case, anyway).

Where are the photos of bill clinton coming out of the side-hatch in 1999?

Hi! Its pretty cool you used to work in there. Where I was at the cape was in SAEF-II. And yes we had to wear bunny suits as well. :-) I am fully aware that those are required. However, the dems are the one screaming, not us. We are just having a bit of fun at Kerry's expense. Heck, if you look at my finest page, it even says I dress a little funny. (me in my bunny suit) :-)

If Kerry would just learn to laugh at himself with this, it would poof in one day.
