Well we don't know. She could have called for information, and they were trying to find her husband in their files regarding enrollment. Then they called her back with the news that he had never enrolled.
Or the phone call she was upset over, could have been the only phone call. A coworker said she had the UNC's website up on her computer. That suggests she was looking up phone numbers.
The police will track all of this down.
