I've never been attacked before or after installing Norton, I have xp and am clueless about how anything works!I install promptly myself all critical updates from microsoft...although I know they don't stop some worms.
I'm digging up that Norton software. I went to bed very early last night, so I'm an early bird this AM. When I click on my DSL icon, I am taken to my yahoo page. I click on my latest email and it's switching to that damn search page. The address for it on top is "about blank".
I clicked the email icon on top of my browser window, and the same thing happened. Plus for the last 2 weeks, every single action I take while I'm in my email results in a window popping up telling me I have a virus. If I don't click it off fast, my taskbar fills up, then disappears.
I don't open any email that I didn't ask for either. This might be a good time to install that Norton software and find out what's going on.
