"My prayers for you, for me, for the country, for the world, are that we keep this at a high level, with dignity, with respect and with a great idealism and courage that took our forefathers to build this great nation."Not your forefathers, colonialist oppressor b!tch.

At this point and in an irritated fashion Heinz Kerry says, 'Of course, understandable. You said something I didnt say. Now Shove it!' Tape of the incident is being edited to air on Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV, and, according to a media source, ABC NEWS is set to run with it thereafter.
hahahaha! Yeah, I'm sure this will be the lead story on ABC tonight.
[What is she saying? A reporter misquoted her?]
Just a gigolo

The real disturbing part is that she DID say "un-American" and then flatly denied it! Talk about flip-flopping. Can she even remember what she said minute to minute?
Even Rendell quoted her in the video afterward. It seems John has taught his wife well.
This is why I'm so glad we have a classy lady like Laura Bush in the White House.

"...locked all the bathrooms and put up porta potties in the yard for her guests." Wow! They're good enough to invite to a party but not good enough to use the bathroom. Does that speak volumes or what?
No, no, no. You just don't understand. They only did it to save all of the work that the staff would have had to have done. See, they really do care about the 'little people'. (Besides, they didn't have to pay them any overtime.)

I can hardly blame someone for getting testy with the clods in the press, even if it is her.If you watch the video, you'll see that she used the word "un-American" in her speech, after which the reporter asked her what she meant when she said "un-American." Theresa got uppity with him, saying several times, "I did not say that." Then later she spoke with Ed Rendell, then she sought the reporter out, walked up to him and asked him what paper he works for (apparently a paper she considers right-wing) and said, something like, "You said something I did not say. Now shove it." Then she stalked off.
In this case, it is not the reporter who is the clod.

The press have sold their souls to Satan. They routinely lie, distort, and exaggerate just to sell papers or commercial time, or to advance their agendas.
It does not bother me at all that she told the reporter to shove it. In fact, I'd like to see more politicians take that tone with the press.

The unAmerican heiress got caught in a ridiculous lie while accusing a reporter of being dishonest!
What hoot. And you defend her action!
To: Texas Eagle
Heard a caller put this in context on CSPIN......(surprised he was allowed on the air)
The reporter asked her what she meant when she said un American.......she denied using that word and when the reporter persisted in saying she did, she insisted HE put words in her mouth......ultimately she told him to SHOVE IT.....

What I understand is that people with her wealth are surrounded by people who tell her that her pee pee is perfume. No one dares to say NO. She actually believes she's infallable.

Doesn't bother me either. THE KICKER is that after giving her can't-we-all-just-get-along speech she flat out denies (FIVE TIMES) having said the word "un-American" in her speech when in fact she did.
To: Mike Bates
This is the Lurch campaign's "Yeaaargh!!" moment. The woman has a history of foot-in-mouth disease, and now the whole world will see it. She's like a real-life equivelant of the character in The Manchurian Candidate.

JOhn KErry will introduce his wife from the podium as "Our first African-American First Lady-to be..." :) (Well, technically... :) Just like I can call myself a Native American. No Indian blood in me, but I was born in Lynn, MA, which is part of America, so I'm a Native American, aren't I? :)Actually, I don't get the criticism of Theresa for referring to herself as African American. She is authentically African American, more so than most of the people in this country who use that label.
