Kerry just 'threw' out the opening pitch at the Boston-Yankees game. Just saw Kerry pitch a really weak opening pitch, well short of the plate, bouncing under the catcher. What a poser!

GWB would never pull a stunt like this. He knows that all the extra security, the Secret Service preps, etc. would create a huge hassle for the fans attending the game, causing lots of delays and ill will that the media would be only too happy to pick up and run with as THE story of the event. He would just decide to skip going to a game, and not make a big deal out of it.

"I wonder if the media will show Kerry's girlie man throw that didn't reach the plate even though is was almost half way between the mound and home."Contrast the girly-man's pitch to W's fastball strike right down the middle from the mound. Kerry is pathetic.

I was just checking Sunday night games but Tuesday works just as well. I wonder if we can get W there to throw another strike?I doubt he would go to a game while the convention is on TV. Sunday is more plausible, yet still unlikely. The security concerns would be a nightmare.

Did you hear him mistakenly identify the umpires as "refs?" What an absolute talentless idiot he is.

For him it wouldn't be a stunt. He doesn't do stunts.

What's John Glenn doing with his hand? Is that rapid flip flopping the American Sign language hand movement for Kerry?

Millar, beloved KFC spokesman, says, "Hi, I'm Kevin Millar. I hit baseballs for a living. Sometimes they go far, and sometimes they don't, but, damn, I sure hit me some baseballs." What did you think of his big high-five lovefest with Kerry?

Awwww. Looks like Johnny got a little sliver throwing the baseball.

And doesn't the press corps know where they're going? Generally speaking, they don't have a clue. Every notice that whenever you read an article in some general interest newspaper or magazine, and you actually know something about the subject matter, the reporter usually seems to make lots of errors and doesn't seem to have a clue about whatever it is that is being written about. You can be that all the times when you don't have personal knowlege of the subject matter they are making the same sorts of mistakes or mistatements of fact.

A man with 5 homes to choose from, who does not attend to a job that he is being paid to do, would think nothing of having people waiting uselessly as decoys. IF he thought at all about the people waiting in Florida tonight, he probably had warm thoughts about how important he is, making all the little people wait for nothing! And they will have to come back at One am or so.
He is used to having people revolve around him.
