Perhaps the code that the feds asked NEIN to pull?

The skeptics over at ATS are doing a good job debunking the hex-code frame from the recent OBL video.

http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread67496/pg2

I haven't taken the time to see if the code is indeed in the original video that I downloaded.

I'm all for that! I would donate.

Anything that can support individual IP banning and moderated threads that Mods can edit/delete the post and not the whole thread.

Besides, the Php or other BBS services are layed out better for getting at information than this continuous thread is. Search function works better too. This site is so confusing to find things on that I usually just stick the the current Threat Matrix Thread #? thread and dont go snooping elsewhere on the site. I can never find my way back to where I was.

I agree 100% with your assessment of the moderators and the job they do for us. There is no question is must be an overwhelming job.

What I am concerned about primarily is those who post here who seem to have a mindset of demoralizing and dissing whoever they disagree with in this public forum, when they have been among us long enough to know that such behavior belongs in Personal Mail. They are no better than 5th graders who need to be reminded that their behavior affects the whole class. There's not a person here who's going to agree with everyone posting and thankfully most of us have the courtesy to give them their opinion and move onward. If you question the motive, ask in a manner consistent with how you would like to be asked the same question.

The loss of Thread 14 should serve as a reminder to all who post here that we must play nicely, or play elsewhere. For those who post negative, retaliatory or bullying posts, remember that it isn't just the recipient who reads those posts (all of us can see the poster's anger, manipulation or tantrum), and we all surmise the poster's character by his or her online demeanor. Not too hard to do: BE CONSTRUCTIVE, NOT DESTRUCTIVE.

Thank you Jim Robinson for all you do for Threat Matrix and thank you loyal FReepers for providing us with the news beyond the TV and radio pablum. HipShot, thank you for your defense of the moderators - I'm sure they do need acknowledgement of what they do!

A better comparison would be if one of the students attacked the teacher.

I think it might be a good idea, but being connected to FR has some bonuses. This website has such a huge user base that it is often the first place to catch breaking news and important information.

It might be better to get a domain name to dump specific things (video, collection of specific data) to rather than completely move to a new site.

If we did move, I would hope the BBS would offer HTML posting, I like that option of FR a lot myself.

I have never really had a problem keeping up with these long threads, but would like the ability to search out certain things that occurred months ago.

It's a toss up. If you guys decide to move, I will be willing to help out monetarily or otherwise.

If someone wants to register a domain name, give me the name and I'll add it to my DNS servers. I'll provide a static IP and AV mail services as well as WWW and whatever else we may need.

It is still on other sites. And for sure they are more in contact with the feds than we are.

He forgot to add:

"Subscriptions to my site for more information, now available for $99.!"

LOL

I hope he is wrong, and his track record does not have me stocking up on canned goods. But, as always, it is chilling. And, make no mistake, a WMD used in a U.S. city is certainly always a possiblity.

I have long believed that if one is here, it will be used quickly -- so as to prevent additional time for detection.

As I am about three miles from the Nation's Capital, this does not make me feel warm and fuzzy. (But, Sean has yet to correctly predict that noon arrives after 11:59AM.)

Let's face it, when one calls for rain everyday -- one is eventually right.

Now a question does anyone know how to store seeds for a garden? How long they would last etc...

Hold it I just thought about something. August is my mothers birthday is why I even thought about this. I am NOT into astrology. But the beginning of August is the lion.

This is when we need thread 14, wasn't there something in a post that keep referencing lions? Anybody remember?

Isn't "Shehada" someone who dies for jihad

Yes, but I thought it was a "Palestinian" word, not something your garden variety terrorist uses in our case.

Russia's 'Lost' nuclear luggage ........................ from Eric Margolis

...The Soviet mini-nukes, described  as  the  size of a golf club bag, were     designed to destroy vital targets, such  as military command and control     centers, air defense headquarters, missile  bases, communications nodes,     power stations, bridges, dams, airports, and the St. Lawrence Seaway. If     one such weapon, hidden in the  back  of  a delivery van, were detonated     outside  the  Pentagon,   America's    military   leadership  would  be decapitated. ...

... The GRU colonel explained the mini-nukes were to be smuggled into the US     the same way drugs were - by speedboat, light aircraft, or landed on the     coast by Soviet  subs.  Soviet  special  force  'Spetsnaz'  units  would     retrieve the weapons and conceal  them  close to their intended targets.     One key hiding place  was  Northern   Virginia's   beautiful  Shenandoah Valley, located a short drive from Washington....

...The colonel also revealed that during the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, the     Soviets  stockpiled  suitcase   nuclear  weapons  in  Cuba  without  the     knowledge of Castro, ready for use by special forces troops. KGB sources     also recently told  me  that  at  the   height  of  the  crisis,  Soviet     commanders in  Cuba  were  authorized   to  launch  intermediate  range     ballistic missiles against the  US  and  Canada  if communications links     with Moscow were broken or jammed....

...US security officials, who have  been  nonchalant  about hidden suitcase     nukes, should bear in mind  the  stranger-  than-fiction  case  of a GRU     'sleeper' agent who settled in  Edmonton,  Canada,  the late 1940's as a     supposed refugee from Ukraine. A decade  ago, he turned himself into the     RCMP, and showed them a large, trunk-bomb he had hidden in his basement.     His orders: when  a  coded  signal  comes  in  from  GRU,  transport the     conventional bomb in his truck to  a  main  oil pumping station north of     Edmonton, and destroy it. He had been waiting nearly 40 years.
