By "Asian", I was making a feeble effort not to reveal my age by refering to the female as "Oriental" since a Chinese friend gently reminded me a few weeks ago that they preferred to be called Asian. Also, I cannot be certain that there was a connection between her and the ME male, but they were both in relatively close proximity to each other and both were IMHO acting strangly. Now I am fully aware that acting strangly is perfectly legal and I am sure that there are occasions when I may seem to acting strangly myself but I keep remembering that the 19 (14 Saudi males between 19 and 40) were not suspects prior to 09/11/2001 @ 08:45.
I have a friend who is Hawaiian. He is an American. He gets called Asian all the time. But he is an American. I know many Latin Americans from many countries some have almost Asian features, but they are not. They are Peruvians, Hondurans etc. I know a friend who is an Israeli with dark skin, Definitley might look like an Arab to some, But he's not. He is Jewish. But he is an "ME type". Especially at 55 mph (I'm sure you don't speed on rt 29 ;-) )Richard Reed the "shoe bomber" was white. So was Johnny "Taliban" Walker. So is the kid on the recently released "wanted list". Jose Padilla was an Hispanic American. So how can you tell a terrorist by a glance? I do appreciate you being vigilant, however I think your just a bit carried away with all this.
