I think the Berger scandal is dead - the media are killing it -

I really don't believe they will allow it to break - not 90 days before an election -

As far as I can tell - none of the big three even have a headline about the Berger scandal even up on their web-sites -

The only way around that is if senior white house officials started pushing it out there.Right now they are "pussy-footin" around the subject.

the dems and the media have a plan to squelch the big push the GOP has in mind for August by the shenanigans about hte 9/11 committee's recommendations. They want to make the "hearings" into the recommendations that will be called into session in August when they should be on vacation.

It would be neat if there is some great big breaking news story that sweeps the dem convention off the pages and buries them ----but I'll believe it when I see it.
