Probably because this "report" doesn't do the damage to Bush that he wished it would have. Maybe he knows some major crap is about to hit the fan on the stuff your socks burglar story as well and that sign hit a raw nerve.

This incident highlights the strain they are under. I realize they are spinning this so far as they can, but their behavior speaks of the seriousness of Sandy's act. Angry, emotional, and lashing out at American citizens. Would G.W. do this? A man subject to far worse by the Libs? No.
It's more than the strain of Burglar, of course. Being spoken to as though they are on equal footing with any any average citizen is unnerving as well.
