Statement from Bumper Sticker maker on controversy

What's all the fuss about? July, 20, 2004 9:00pm EST Statement from iLoveHalliburton.com

Somehow... it's OK for MoveOn.org to compare President Bush to Hitler and it's OK for the media to endlessly fawn over Michael Moore's lies... but a thought provoking bumper sticker that might generate good discussion about the election is bad?

The logic is simple: Who do you think terrorists would prefer?

"An apology for Kerry-Bin Laden sticker" - LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A Republican lawmaker is apologizing for a bumper sticker display in a GOP office that compares John Kerry to Osama bin Laden. The sticker reads: “Kerry is bin Laden’s Man. Bush is Mine.”

This RINO should surrender his balls, immediately.

Just bought a handful of them, myself. They'll be waiting in my mailbox for me when I get home!

I figure anything that gets the dim's so worked up must hit awfully close to home!

...compares John Kerry to Osama bin Laden.

Uh, no, the bumper sticker doesn't compare them at all.

Just get the magnetic sheets with adhesive on one side. Helps prevent the car from getting defaced AND you can always switch it out for your JOIN THE RESISTANCE FreeRepublic.com sticker later.

A little too strong for me. It indicts "war hero" as a prerequisite for the job. I'd rather keep it specific and say something like "Yeah, Kerry's a war hero ... in the mold of Benedict Arnold." or " ... just like Benedict Arnold was."

Apples and oranges, I guess.

It doesn't mention the Presidency so I don't see how it does that. What kind of bothers me about it is that Benedict Arnold truly was heroic before he betrayed the cause. But I can live with that.

Fantastic idea. Of course they won't stick to my bumper -- it's plastic! =) But, the trunk will work just fine. You wouldn't happen to have a good source for those, would you?

This RINO should surrender his balls, immediately...not surprisingly, she has none to surrender - I believe this was Ann Northrup, congressperson from Kentucky -when oh when will Republicans learn that politics ain't a Boy Scout Jamboree!?......
