I don't know how a certified idiot like David Gergen got as far as he has. He's thicker than pea soup.
I've become convinced that he's gotten as far as he is by being a cutthroat. I'm assuming he knows where the bodies are all buried and he's not afraid to leverage it as needed. He's like a behind-the-scenes McCain.
