There was a family in Florida who followed advice like yours. In their case with regard bees. Bees settled into their rancher's roof's eaves. But the bees did not sting -- much. And after some years, why the honey that dripped through cracks in the ceiling tasted good.
Their plan was to live and let live. Tolerate an occassional nuisance. Not be bothered. Not be alarmed. Adjust to the buzzz. And indeed -- the homeowners appreciated that "free" honey.
Over years the bees built more and more combs -- colonies and honeycombs throughout the walls and eaves. They came to fill any vacant area.
Eventually the load of honey in the combs -- the weight of live bees collapsed the ceiling. The house was a total loss. The family was driven out.
The fruits of tolerance of slight nuisance, of inaction in the face of ignorable danger. Of living and letting live.
That's the basket of fresh stuff you have for sale.
Stainless Banner, sorry to include you in this but I thought you may want to read.
bvw,
Have I said ignore? Nope
Have I said appease? Nope
Have you had enough sense to answer my question which was,
What would you have done? Nope
As another poster said, (not SB), You are all hat and no cattle.
I'll help you here on your plan based on my assessment of your responses so far.
Step 1. Get on airplane with 14 Arabs.
Step 2. Get scared of 14 Arabs.
Step 3. Wet pants over 14 Arabs.
Step 4. Go to website and scare other people like yourself about Arabs. Present no plan on what should have been done.
Step 5. Repeat step 4 until doubters go away.
Step 6. Panic panic panic. Put extra mulch on plants. Panic. Talk about bees.
