This is someone so self-centered that there seems to be no consideration of the miracle of life, of God's gift to her, and even the experience of remorse of ending the life of two of her babies. No doubt, it might be a scary idea to have triplets. It is the extreme lack of caring about the babies at all and focusing in on the inconvenience of it all that makes this shocking.

I wonder if she professes to be a Christian?

Good grief, what a cold useless excuse for a human.

Our family has gone from two to five within fourteen months--not quite triplets, but close (twins, and a 'surprise' baby). Never once did we consider that we would be happier if we murdered one of our children--indeed, after a previous stillbirth, the idea is horrific. What a moral emptiness this stupid, shallow woman must be.

I would do the same thing if I had triplets again, but if I had twins, I would probably have (keep) twins.

YOU ALREADY HAD TWINS AND YOU KILLED THEM!

The doctor came in, and then Peter was asked to leave. I said, ''Can Peter stay?'' The doctor said no. I know Peter was offended by that.

It seems like Peter wanted all three of his kids, but could not stand up to Amy so capitulated. No character.

Of course the Dr. wouldn't let Peter stay. They would hide the tiny little human bodies from the Mmother but if the father was there he could see them and have to face what he allowed. Two of his Children MURDERED.
Heart beats, and a big enough brain to stick the needle of death into. Sick

...and buying big jars of mayonnaise...

Let's see here. Hmmmmmm, the convenience of small jars of mayonnaise and killing two of my children, or big jars of mayonnaise and having three kids...somehow that made sense to her...

What a difficult choice for a person with a seared conscience.

I'm old enough to presume that I wasn't going to have an easy time becoming pregnant

I think she took fertility drugs, then LIED about it to her doctor when things went awry.

And what's wrong with big jars of mayo anyway? I have 5 big jars in my pantry right now. Great for sandwiches, potato salad, and creamy salad dressing.

''This is why they say it's the woman's choice, because you think I could just carry triplets.

This is why "they" are wrong.

"Choice" is a euphemism for killing.

BTW, I wonder if we are seeing the face of someone who would kill a baby in the final trimester? After all, what if she got pre-eclampsia or gestational diabetes and was put on bedrest? Guess she'd have a "partial birth abortion" if it interfered with her plans of a perfect pregnancy. This person is so selfish and ill-prepared to raise another human being to adulthood.

So ... the lesson to be learned is ......??

If you're unmarried and you don't want children, don't be sleeping around!! I'd like to know if she ever plans to tell the one child that she was saved but the other 2 were killed.

And .. the identical twins .. maybe one of them would have been a brilliant scientist who would have cured millions of people from a terrible disease.

There are a lot more complications when a woman carries multiples. And so, from the doctor's perspective, it's a matter of trying to save the woman this trauma...

There are no words.

I hope you rot in hell you murdering POS, where you can hear the voice of your dead baby continually asking you why you killed him...forever...and ever.....

We'll see how PC the mods are by how fast this is removed]

That's easy for you to say, but I'd have to give up my life.''

What a difference, for most women the best part of our lives start when we become pregnant. I was also bed ridden for 7 months with my last child...7 months is all that was asked of me for the most wonderful gift that is given to us humans. What a horrible POS this woman became.

Someone needs to fax this over to Dr. Laura (she doesn't take e-mails, and I'm not in a position to fax).

She'll chew this woman's story up and spit it out in little pieces.

Her FAX: 818-461-5140.

Dear dennisw,

I checked the link, just to make sure the article was real. It is difficult to believe that this was actually written and published in the New York Times.

It reads like a parody, an awful, sick caricature of pro-aborts. Blind they are. They obviously don't see what is apparent to those who have not lost their reason, their souls, their consciences, their hearts.

How terribly sad. Shameful and sad.

what a idiot boyfriend for his choice of women.

He was NOTHING in this story, not even a good boyfriend. He did not do the right thing.

She will feel the impact of this wrong choice every time she realizes her son had siblings that should be there.

The only good of this, two less democrats.

Completely and utterly repulsive. I wonder how she's going to explain this to the son she *allowed* to live one day, if ever? "You had two brothers/sisters, but I didn't want to be inconvenienced so I got rid of them before you were born..." Every time I think I've finally heard it all I read something like this--and realize I haven't.

My immediate response was, I cannot have triplets. I was not married; I lived in a five-story walk-up in the East Village;

...

When I found out about the triplets, I felt like: It's not the back of a pickup at 16, but now I'm going to have to move to Staten Island. I'll never leave my house because I'll have to care for these children.

How many more children would she be willing to kill to get a nice rent controlled apartment with a doorman and an elevator? Maybe she could even move into a slightly more fashionable neighborhood than the East Village?
