Being three days older (supposedly, like how could they tell???) is what saved the stand-alone's life--now that's splitting the old viability hairs pretty thin.

I thought this was going to be an article about China at first.
Let me see: she is unmarried, stops using birthcontrol, gets pregnant (but doesn't want to change her life) . . . so selectively kills two. I know you cannot force people be do the right thing but it is still sad to see how people think about the next generation.

Yes, you can. It's called a law.

Tough situation for the boyfriend who has no power in the matter. Granted, I'd have told her up front that if she's willing to risk a pregnancy we need to be married. That aside, he now must choose between continuing his relationship with the murderer of his two children so that his third might have a chance of success, and abandoning the remaining child at birth.

Not a fun choice, I'd imagine.

By the way, she acknowledges they are all children. She says she won't be able to leave the house because she will have to care for "these children." She doesn't say she will have to care for this child (that she is planning to keep) and these two fetuses (that she is planning to abort.)

This article is amazing.

This is the type of woman I meet on an everyday basis. Pretty much the major political issue for these women is "keep your rosaries off my ovaries, but please buy me a $600 pair of Manolo Blahniks."

If abortion were connected to actual women--people like my friend Amy Richards, who had an abortion at 18 and a selective reduction last year when she found she was pregnant with triplets, or Nancy Flynn, who was a single mom finishing her BA at Cornell when she had an abortion and who told me she would "never have been able to have the rich life I've had and help my son as much as I have if I'd been the single mother of two children"--perhaps the mounting restrictions wouldn't pass so handily.

So, she's actually killed three of her children?!? This is past sick . . .

But now I'm going to have to move to Staten Island.

Thought you might find this line of interest. Many Manhattanites fear having to move to Staten Island more than aborting their children.

And it isn't pickup truck country either, it's New York City.</i.

Yeah, its Brooklyn circa 1960, attitudes and all, with uglier houses.

Nevertheless, there is NO excusing this woman's behavior. Disgusting.

I hope she repents, I'd hate to think she has to go to hell because she didn't want to give up flying.

This is someone so self-centered that there seems to be no consideration of the miracle of life, of God's gift to her, and even the experience of remorse of ending the life of two of her babies. No doubt, it might be a scary idea to have triplets. It is the extreme lack of caring about the babies at all and focusing in on the inconvenience of it all that makes this shocking.

I wonder if she professes to be a Christian?

More than many, but less than most NYC women are imply hideous. That's one (of many) reasons I left NYC and don't regret it.

They aren't any better in Seattle, although at least women in Manhattan bathe...

Why would you purposefully create three babies when you only want one?

It was not a case of setting out to create three babies, they were already created.

You moved to Seattle? Or from Seattle?

In any case the women in Las Vegas are better, they bathe and the immoral ones are honest about it. Just the thing for a bachelor like me! ;-)

Our family has gone from two to five within fourteen months--not quite triplets, but close (twins, and a 'surprise' baby). Never once did we consider that we would be happier if we murdered one of our children--indeed, after a previous stillbirth, the idea is horrific. What a moral emptiness this stupid, shallow woman must be.
