Does the Second Amendment guarantee a right to states rather than an individual right to choose to own firearms?

The Bill of Rights.....are they rights of the state? Are they all OF, FOR & BY the people...everyone of them EXCEPT the 2nd?

This tired argument doesn't hold water. Besides, THE PEOPLE were/are THE MILITIA.

"...,the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

It does not say state...it says PEOPLE.

Like ya said....their Argument does not hold water.

It also reads "...keep and bear Arms,<"

Does not say that we are limited to certain Arms.

I'm also sick of the ridiculous "militia, not the people" argument.

Doesn't the Constitution state VERY clearly that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed? The argument ends right there.
