Don't get me wrong, I'm happily voting for 43. But I still think we (Americans in general, not just Pubbies) need a new party.

So go get a new party. Be sure to write now and then so we know you're still doing okay.

I've advocated a new party for quite some time - and usually around here the derision received is as you would expect. Maybe it will start sinking in to all AMERICANS that the time is finally approaching that our country needs to get back to the values that made the US the best nation on earth.
Start over back at the original 10 amendments, throw out the US Code as it stands, and follow the advice of the founders. All of the extraneous crap that the Federal Gov't has become involved with needs to go, we don't need to pay for it. Involvement with the UN etc.? I don't think so.
Russia had the opportunity to start over with a clean sheet of paper, and they've done quite well considering where they started. Even with all of the impediments our nation faces due to the stupidity and egos of our legislators and judges over the last 228 years, we still are the driving force of events on the entire planet - just imagine if we could break free of our slave chains to the IRS and the rest of the alphabet soup agencies. A truly free America. The possibilities are endless.
