Don’t forget that Hanoi John was still an officer in the United States Navy when he committed sedition and treason.
I too choke back bile every time I hear him start to talk about Vietnam. My father was in the Marines and did 3 tours over there between 63 & 68. He wasn't so great as a father, but by all accounts, he was one hellva Marine. My mom still hears from his men and if he were still alive, I suspect he'd have a few words to say.
