I for one am VERY GLAD this guy is off the roads.
The doctor probably was doing what s/he thought was a good thing.
But, if this event had occurred in some other states (like CA) and Emerich
found a good lawyer...lawsuit time if the doctor couldn't make a really good
case that drinking a six-pack in the evening incapacitated the driver
when he took the wheel the next morning.
I see both sides of this situation.
But I can also see a lot of people in Penn. with drinking problems
clamming up for good when talking to their doctors...and not getting help.
