Amen, but then he carries dual citizenship. I cannot believe that he is a featured speaker at the GOP Convention.
What are they thinking? Or are they thinking?
And just WHY is it, that we allow people to maintain 'dual citizenship', anyway? If you want to become a U.S. citizen, you renounce any former allegiance to your native country, PERIOD. I always believed that was the way it HAD been. Anyone know when they started allowing this?
The GOP is thinking, yes, with their brains. A foreign concept to some Freepers and LP'ers, to be sure.
They're thinking that it doesn't matter who they put up there. The faithful on this forum and elsewhere will vote for them no matter who they support and promote. Your opinion doesn't matter to the GOP leadership because you're a conservative. Your vote is all that matters and for many people on this board that vote is already sewn up regardless.
I can't believe that Hatch is trying to pass an ammendent to let naturalized citizens, good as they may be, run for office.
