I agree, then after it's built, round up each and every illegal and throw them back over it. Let them apply, then come if they are approved, like everyone else.

Of course we can expect the U.N. and the world court to condem us and sanction us. What could be better. So long as we are pissing off those bastards, let's us know we are moving in the right direction, eh?

IIRC, deported aliens must wait 10 years to apply, so they can't apply like everyone else.

O.K., Pie in the sky here, but, since the gubmint isn't going to do anything about the border, what if citizens donating labor and money, and materials voluntarily, on private land with permission mind you, built an impenetrable barrier? Al with the same design to be connected later. This would at least force the border crossings to occur on public lands, decreasing the total area of leakage to a more manageable size. Imagine the caterwauling from the left! And if the feds tried to stop it, it would only shed light on their own ineffectiveness. Tell me where to send my first load of concrete.
