I saw a part - it was quite pathetic. Whenever Leslie asked some pointed question - Edwards replied - like a real shyster lawyer....

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head. Edwards will treat everyone as if they are the opposing lawyer at one of his court cases. This doesn't bode well for his political future (good). ;)
Some dem(I think it was the ever rancid Bob Beckel) on the news the other day was salivating over the fact that Cheney was going to have to debate a trial lawyer if not have answere to one in court soon. Edwards will go into the debate like a trial lawyer, however, Cheney will respond like a judge. Edwards is toast.
