Add to all this the recent news that the uranium story does have foundation in fact and we have a good opportunity for the GOP to expose this as a model of gotcha journalism and pack mentality seems invariably to be directed at Republicans.

But can RNC do it?

It might go a long way toward blunting the distortions which are sure to come out of the Senate intelligence report or the inevitable October surprise.

Yes they can, but WILL they do it?

No balls, no battles. Of course there are exceptions, but they are few and far between.

IMHO, the focus should be on the Wilson story and the other lies propagated by the liberal press.

Instead, the Senate is wasting valuable time on the Gay Marriage issue (and I do support the Amendment) which had a snowball's chance in hell of passing at this moment in time. It is an issue which could have waited until after the election. Terrorism and National Security can not.
