To: Just mythoughts

I was just remembering something else...

I've read somewhere but don't have the link and I think Jayna referenced it last night but don't know if anyone captured it, that it was the GH Bush administration that LET some Republican Guard ex-soldiers move to the United States in an agreement of some sort...in exchange for them standing down during the First Gulf War.

I don't think all these guys were sleeper cells but had legitimately been allowed into the country.

That reflects badly on two administrations.

Yes I do recall that as well, who knows why, possibly the thought was to Americanize them so they could perhaps return to Iraq another day.

However, for whatever reason possibly because of the election in 1992 plans were changed.
