Anquan Boldin (WR-Cardinals) went down with a leg injury during Cardinals practice today. He's currently undergoing tests.
DAMN! Missed another one!
sigh
Now, after looking at my roster.. I done good. ;-)
Go Vikes!!!
An astro turf injury? First Shipp and now Boldin. I noticed Boldin is on your team.
A. Boldin (Ari - WR)
Aug 10 Updating ongoing reports, Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green said WR Anquan Boldin (knee) had his knee lock up during practice Tuesday, Aug. 10. The team is currently having Boldin undergo extensive tests on his knee. (KFFL)
Aug 10 News: Boldin reportedly is battling some inflammation in his right knee, an ailment that forced him to miss the Cardinals' practice Monday morning. However, the injury is considered minor, and the second-year receiver was able to work out with the team in the afternoon.
Advice: Arizona coach Dennis Green said the move to hold Boldin out was precautionary, and tests revealed no structural problems. Boldin was named the Associated Press Rookie of the Year after hauling in 101 passes for 1,377 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games last season. He is expected (STATS, Inc.)
Aug 10 News: Cardinals' receiver Anquan Boldin suffered a knee injury Tuesday during pre-practice drills. The Arizona Republic reports that Boldin was running a half-speed, non-contact drill when he suffered the injury. The second-year receiver was carted off the field and taken into the locker room for further medical attention. Boldin actually sat out of practice Monday after experiencing soreness in the same knee. He led the Cardinals with 1,377 yards receiving and eight touchdowns as a rookie last season.
Views: Obviously, losing Boldin would be damaging to the Cardinals, and would certainly throw a monkey wrench into head coach Dennis Green's plan to feature a pass-heavy offensive attack. We'll update Boldin's condition once more information becomes available. (Fanball.com)
Damn. This could hurt Fitzgerald as well.

By accident?
Thanks for all your work, GSC.
Harrington and Pollard are good FA pick-ups.
Well, I grabbed Harrington because all the talking heads thinks the Lions are about to turn the corner and become a monster. So, naturally, they'll go 2-14 or something. ;^)
I was surprised Pollard was still out there. Made a few other changes. Think I'm done now.
Until you fall to last place in week 1?
:-)
Anquan had an arthroscopic procedure earlier today to repair what his MRI initially indicated was a slight meniscal tear, said head coach Dennis Green. Unfortunately, a more intricate examination during surgery revealed a more significant tear than first thought and this required a surgical procedure to repair. The good news is that the surgical procedure went very well and Anquan will be back on the field as good as ever this season. Its a bit premature to estimate a precise timetable right now because it varies greatly from individual to individual but we are looking at what is typically an 8-12 week injury.August 12th update...

I'm sorry to hear that. I'll do my fair share and offer Jimmy Smith in a trade for Shaun Alexander.
It's the least I can do.
How thoughtful. Perhaps you'd like Randy Moss for a cooler of Gatorade.
Naaaaa.....I'd throw in Eddie George, too.

Jamal Lewis' drug conspiracy trial is scheduled to begin on Nov. 1, the middle of the NFL season. The date, set Thursday by a federal court, comes between the eighth and ninth weeks of the season. The Ravens are at Philadelphia on Oct. 31, then play host to Cleveland in a night game the following Sunday. Jamal Lewis will not play any football games during his legal trial. Estimates for the trial range from one-to-three weeks. Musa Smith would likely start in his place.
I went with Rashaun Woods. He's got some height, he can jump, he's smart, he's got a good attitude, he was in a pro system at OK State, and he'll have plenty of opportunities for catches with TO and Streets gone. I'm not looking at him to show up in a fantasy way until Week 5 or so. I moved Toomer into the WR3 slot.
I think I'll be okay. I just needed some quality depth. With Randy Moss-some and greased lightning Steve Smith (boy, he made a believer out of me in SB XXXIX against my Pats' handcuff defense-- 80 yds and a TD on only 4 attempts and a 30-yd kick return for the hell of it) as my WR1 and WR2, I think I can get away with not worrying so much about WR3.
