I assume that you're talking about once a nominee is known, because they were positively glowing over McShame in 2000, Buchanan in 1992, Bush in 1980 (and the list goes on). Other than Lincoln (at least in the North) and possibly Ike, I can't think of any Pubbie ever supported by the Leftist Media.
