I missed it so I have to ask if I need to hide or did I do a good job?
If you got on, you did a good job.
As time goes on, you'll get more comfortable doing those.
Best to think ahead of time about what point you want to make and then keep your replies short and on that topic so that's pretty much all they have to work with. That way the editors have little choice on what to use.
"Great work everybody, I'm heartbroken I didn't drive down.

I'm looking forward to seeing you DC FReepers again. I'm sure we will meet up again soon, but plan on next year taking a road trip to our "sleepy little town". Life gets in the way at times, so don't worry about not being here this time. You guys have many battles there that you fight and can't travel to all the others as well.
If I learned nothing else while I was an investigator I learned that keeping my answers short is to my advantage. Reporters often try to spin what you say one way or another, and as you pointed out it is up to us not to give them the room to do so.
I was very careful to not go neg. and to be direct and stay on topic.
I'm not so worried about what I said, but I am worried as how I looked. Vanity is the devils favorite sin you know. LOL
However I knew from the get go that this reporter was going to be on my side since a girl from the Anti-America march walked over and tried to elbow both of us before he even got to ask the 1st question. We both just laughed at her. In short, SHE REALLY MESSED UP!!!!
