What the author failed to mention was that Admiral Denton received the Navy Cross for blinking in Morse code.
Its a disgrace how this Admiral Denton a great American hero is being treated. I am not sure if he lives in CA but I hope he never steps foot in CA again. He is too good for this state. The same rate are treating deceased politician Pete Knight the same way. Knight flew the X-15 and was elected several times to public office but because he opposed gay rights the Demos are reluctant to name a stretch of freeway in his honor.
